Large Itchy Welts All Over Body, Spreading Other People By Touching. Suggestions?

my husband has large itchy welts all over his body. the almost seem like large mosquito bites. Nobody in the house has them but after i touched them, now i have them. they are only on my arms but went from one arm to the next. After one arm cleared up the other arm has them. He has them all over. His doctor prescribed something but i swear he needs a steriod shot. any suggestions?

As per your query your husband have the problem of Large itchy welts all over body, spreading to other people by touching.

As per the short history you described the most common infection to cause the rash may be because of scabies but as other family members except you are not affected so again seems unlikely.

The other is possibility can be of by fungal infection. It is quite common to find the fungal infection causing rash kind of thing as a part of history you described. Steroid shot can actually flare up the rash as is help in growth of the fungus.
I request you to meet a dermatologist who can do close examination and can prescribe you treatment accordingly.
For the betterment kindly follow the suggestion below:
- Keep your self away from hot and humid climate.
- Take two times bath.
- Wear cotton clothe s and cotton undergarments.
- Do cold compression or warm water compresses according to the weather condition.
-Don't try to scratch or rub the area as can lead to further aggravation of the problem.
