Joint Pain, Sore Throat, Redness And Swelling, Lump. Had Flu Shot. History Of Post Nasal Drip Causing Irritation
A couple of days after flu shoot became fatigue with weakness and joint pain. lasted about 10 days. soon after developed a sore throat on right side. Redness and some swelling. Whole right side of head and neck pain, to include jaw, temple area and neck.. small lump palpated on right side in grove where pulse is felt. No noticed on left side. Head Ache also. history of post nasal drip causing irritation, but not like this. Hurts to swallow. Been this way for about three weeks now.

I would come up with these possibilities for this type of pain on the right side ( and in the throat) , these includes.
1 Strep throat ( however causative organism or pathogen may be staphylococcal ) as you are complaining that there was flu type symptoms with joint pain , so streptococcus causes such type of symptoms.Diagnosis can be confirmed by swab from throat.
2 Dental caries with secondary infection in adjoining area . Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a dental surgeon/ E N T specialist.
3 Peritonsilar abscess with secondaries . Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination with palpation by an E N T .
In my opinion according to your history of illness , consult an E N T and get his opinion.
