Itchy Red Bumps On Penis That Disappeared After Itching. Herpes?

About one month ago in a drunken state, received oral sex from a prostitute. About 2 weeks later I noticed some itchy red bumps on my penis, about halfway up. I was worried but I also had a red rash over a significant chunk of my body that seemed to be spreading sometimes where I scratched. Anyways, both of those went away, the on on my penis after a couple days, with no mark or any other problem. However, after the one on my penis went away, a few days later another one came red rash came as well. Both times the rash was small itchy bumps that were in clusters. This second one lasted only about one day. I only scratched this second one a bit but it went away and gave way to raw skin which small little scabs healed over. They were not large, about 6-7 small little dots and the scabs were flush with my skin, not bumping up. I had not thought the second rash was blisters and I don't specifically remember them popping or having liquid coming out but I only scratched them a bit over one day and they went away and the way they healed retrospectively leads me to wonder if they could have been small blisters, that they gave way from the rash to raw smooth skin and did not form any rough bumps, which might indicate that something was there other than a popped blister. I did not notice any excess skin that might exist from a blister after it pops but they were also quite small. They were maybe the size of the ball at the end of a pen, although not exactly circles. Could you tell me what the chance of this being herpes is? I can't really find any clear answers online. The two week period after which the rash showed up coincides with herpes infections, as well as if they were blisters. But there was nothing like ulcers, as well as no pain. And they also healed quite quickly. The second rash was there for one day before going to raw skin and the scabs only took 2 days to heal. Herpes seems to take longer to leave if there is an outbreak. But I also see herpes outbreaks can vary quite a bit with different people. Ultimately I have to get tested but apparently there is no point in getting blood tests before 3 months after possible herpes exposure as it may not show up yet in blood tests and I have had no symptoms to test directly on for two weeks now. Anything advice is helpful.

Hi,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HCM.
After reading the complete query thoroughly I am afraid that your problem might be related to "herpes".

As per the description given above and the time period of appearance as well as the picture you have described in the whole series of history, it closely resembles the viral infection.

It would be better that you must consult a dermatologist at the time of appearance of the blisters (not before or later). The dermatologist will see the exact morphology of the blister and can guide you best according to it. The tests for the herpes are not that necessary if the clinical picture is clear. The tests are only to confirm where there is some confusion regarding the diagnosis.
Hope this information will help.
With good health wishes"
