Itchy Rash On Hands And Arms, Redness

I developed a rash and my hands a few days ago small blister looking spots which has now spread to my arms. It is itchy at times but not all the time, the weather is quite hot and sunny but I have not been sitting in the sun, after showing or bathing the rash is quite red looking. I have not used any new products or eaten any new foods

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
from the description provided, it could be a heat rash or miliaria or allergic rash due to sun, use of any chemical. It could be lesions of lichen nitidus etc.
right now i would advise that you keep the area protected from sun. Do cold water compresses and apply calamine lotion mixed with a mild steroid. If very itchy take tablet cetirizine. If the lesions do not subside in a week, consult a dermatologist nearby.
Hope that helped.
Take care
