Hi started going to derm because my head was itchy. twice my family doctor looked in my head and told me there was no lice without a doubt. BUT when I itched my head something black was under the nail I itched it with. Never seen anything moving but enough to freek me out. I went to derm, he looked at my like I was Nuts, told me that it was dirt under my nails (what really? no I always checked my nails before I scratched). He looked in my head said I had no head lice. I used a cream to put on my head for dry skin. 2 weeks later I started getting red itchy bumps on the bottom of my right calf. They would itch so bad at night I would wake up to blood on my white sheets. They kept appearing until I went to derm. He took one look and said scabies, no testing was done. I treated first time from neck down. While I was in bed my nose itched so bad I finally had to get up and take a look at it, I noticed little black specks on the bottom of the inside of my nose where my small nose hair was. Of course I freaked the hell out, my husband came in and said he couldn't really see anything, they wouldn't come out with a cu tip so I put gloves on and pulled them out with nail and then husband was like wtf? and so was I. I parked my but outside of derms office first thing. He told me I was now treated for scabies and that it must have been dirt in my nose because you cant see scabies from naked eye and they don't go neck up. I insisted anyway he call me in 3 bottles of the lotion to do whole body and scalp even put some in nose and ears (a tips). The itchy red dots went away on my ankle, they scarred bad but 2 days later reappeared on my arms under my elbow. I went to a second derm who told me she had no idea what it was but it was not scabies. She took biopsy came back nothing. Then itchy red bumps spread to lower stomach, Im about 220 pounds so down like under the flab of my belly. These were the worst I would itch them so bad my husband started sleeping on couch and my nightgown would have blood spots all over bottom of stomach. Went back to derm she took second biopsy came back as sever inflammation due to possitble insect bite. But couldn't tell me nothing else. Asked me to have all my cats examined although they have not been outside in over a year. Did that, vet said nothing..no fleas, no leasions, the were fine. Went to 3rd derm she took a look and said bed bugs. So I freaked again called 1st exterminator he told me you don't have bed bugs. Wasn't convinced called 2nd he told me too no bed bugs and left little glue traps under mattress boxstpring and bed just incase......a week later not even a spider on them. My son is 6, he sleeps in the same bed as me until my husband comes home at 1am and puts him in his bed then me and my husband sleep in same bed. Little red itchy dots become bigger after I itched them open on lower stomach. Finally family dr game me prenisone a steroid. For 7 days symtoms got better. It stopped spreading atleast and getting worse. I ran out of the steroid 2 days ago and itched my stomach all night long only to wake up with atleast 4 closer together itchy red bumps below my left breast (on rib cage). The itching is like clock work, I start to itch and look at my watch and its between 8:30 and 9pm always. Some itching during day when I sweat but nothing compared to night. Im kind of lost here, not sure what to do next and I should mention I own a house cleaning business so I am cleaning in other peoples homes. All derms agree its not contagious but how do they know its not contagious if they don't even know what it is. Im not sure what to do next. My customers are starting to notice the bumps and my friends, Im scared to hug my little boy or to sleep with my husband. Any help would be greatly appreciated
