Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

Your symptoms seem to be indicative of an allergic conjunctivitis.
Zyrtec (Cetrizine) is an anti-allergy medication. In addition to this, you can also try anti-histamine eye drops (Emadine or Optivar), which will help reduce the itchiness and watering / discharge. Try to avoid exposure to external dust, pollen and smoke and keep washing your eyes with cold water frequently. Avoid rubbing your eyes with your hands or handkerchiefs, and use only soft clean tissues to gently wipe out the discharge. If your symptoms are still persistent, then you may need further evaluation by an ophthalmologist.

Best wishes,
Dr. Sheeba Stephen
