Itchy Bumps On Upper Arms. Is Tit Safe To Use Sudocrem ?

Dear Doctor , I have bumps that have emerged on my upper arms. Initially I thought it was acne but after a while as they continued to spread on my upper arms with itchiness I realised that it wasn t acne. The are quite red, a good number of them are going but they leave a black dot-like spot behind. Taking a closer look at them, they seem to form a light yellowish tip in the centre, a bit like a form of acne. It is really itchy and I have avoided itching them. I have been using sudocrem on them. Please help!

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. It may be allergic condition as itching is there with red bump. You need to consult a dermatologist. You can take tab cetrizine at night. Apply antibiotic cream over it, drink more water, avoid sour food, and avoid direct sun exposure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gaurav Patel
