Itchy And Burning Sensation Around My Vagina

For the past two days, I've been experiencing a really uncomfortable itch and burning sensation around my vagina. It's not inside, but just around it. I've never had sex but I have masturbated. I clean myself and I know that cleanliness is not an issue. This has happened once before about a year ago but it went away after a day. There are no oozing fluids or bumps or rashes. But I don't know what could be causing the irritation. PLEASE help!
