Itching On The Scrotum, Redness And Burning Sensation. Surfaz Prescribed. Recurring. Need A Cure

About 2 weeks ago, my scrotum started to itch. I applied 'itchguard ointment' prescribed by a local doctor. Though the itching problem is now cured, the scrotum skin is now red, and gives a burning sensation whenever it gets in contact with anything, be it my thighs or my pants. A doctor prescribed to use 'surfaz' ointment, it shows no improvement even i am applying it for a week.
Need a cure, please!

Hi,
You are having irritant contact dermatitis on scrotum.
Irritant may be water, soap or perspiration.
Now, your itch sensation is reduced, but burning and redness are there.
You avoid soap application during bath.
You can use dettol liquid for bath.
Or you take sitz bath in dettol water.
Take short course of antibiotics with steroid in tappering dose.
Apply sisomycin or gentamycin cream on red skin of scrotum.
Keep the affected area dry.
Avoid tension and worries.

I hope you will be benefitted.
Still, you may contact dermatologist.

Regards.
