Itching In Right Breast, Yellow Crust. Had Breast Implant. Normal Mammogram. Which Specialist Should I See?

just recently my right breast has been itching. I applied topical anti itch ointments and it is fine for a few days then starts to itch again. I noticed that when I removed my bra, there was a yellow crust on my bra -right side. Not to big, but big enough that I noticed it. I had my breast implants re-moved and replaced 3 years ago (under muscle wall) . What type of doctor should i see first? My dermatologist or my gyno ? I have had a mammogram and the results were normal but I have dense breasts.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Your symptoms are more in favor of fungal infection of skin. Fungal infection are common in lower parts of breast due sweating. You can consult a dermatologist for examination. Try to keep area dry and wash your inner wears with good antiseptic soap and sun dry them. Antifungal cream helps to resolve your symptoms.

Hope this helps you.

Regards
