Itching In Outer Ears, Getting Into Ear Canal. Remedy?
I have itching in the crevices of both outer ears. Also there is a crusty flakey goo in the crevices. I have had this for several years. Recently it is getting in the ear canal. I feel like it is a type of fungus but not diagnosed. Also not much earwax. Any suggestions as to what it is or a remedy?

may be fungal or allergy
allergy can be from various resons like oils shampoo cooking oils soap creams ointments and other body materials
may be pollen or food
allergen always affect weak part of body
next time allergen exposed will cause problem in same part
need to cotrelate
moment can use anti allergic tab
anti allergic ointment and ear drops having anti allergic effect

Welcome to HCM. From the description, it could be Seborrheic dermatitis. Do you have itchy flakes on your scalp or dandruff as well? Use an antidandruff shampoo and an antiallergic tablet like cetirizine. If not better, visit an Allergy Specialist.
