Itching All Over Legs, Swelling And Pain, Also Over Hands And Neck. Reasons ?
hi, i am 21 yrs old.... from last few days i am having itching over my legs and slowly slowly it will start happening all over my legs ....after that it look like that it is a mosquito bite but then these bites are slowly slowly attach to each other and that portion is become swell and then its paining + itching.....and now from 2 days i also have the same over my hands and neck too.....please help me out about this....what s going on with me????

hi itching over the legs ,swelling and pain can lead to diagnosis of prurigo nodularis. basic pathology behind this condition is xerosis of the skin this causes itching which inturn causes papules-nodules.avoid food like wheat,eggs ryes and oats.go for routine lab investigations like cbp,cue esr and so on.
It can be cured by atarax 25 mg in the night,broad spectrum antibiotic and short course of wysolone strating with 30 mg tapering to 10 mg within 15 days.apply a moisteriser regularly and use propysalic ointment over the lesions and there are studies of using thaldomide in prurigo nodularis
