Is Whole Wheat Flour Harmful In Thyroid Patients?

Hello,can I eat 600 g of bajra roti daily or does it have side effects?I wanted to stop eating whole wheat flour rotis because it contains gluten.Now I wanted to eat chapatis made from miller flour(bajra roti),but I read that it is dangerous for your thyroid.So what should I do?Are there other options?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

I think you have allergy from gluten containing diet.
So you want to avoid gluten....

Let me know you millet is free from gluten ,
But it contain goitrogens ...They are substance that suppress thyroid activity and can lead hypothyroidism...

So if you have allergy from gluten diet like wheat then use millet but not excessively.

Another gluten free staple diet can also be taken like ......
-rice
-oat ...
