Is White, Skin Tag On Side Of Tongue A Cause For Concern?
Hi there, I have a white skin tag on the side of my tongue. It has sensation in it and is firm but not hard in texture. It kind of looks like one of my tastebuds has decided to grow up into a little point. Is this something I need to have checked out or should I just leave it be?....
thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the tissue tag could be because of the trauma caused by sharp cuspal edges of the teeth. or it can be irritational fibroma or elongated papilla. nothing to worry consult a oral physician and check for any sharp cusps and get it reduced. if the tissue tag troubles in speech or mastication get it removed. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
