Is White Matter In The Brain Scan A Cause Of Concern?

I am a 50 year old healthy female. I am 5 6 and only way 118 lbs. I was recently seeing double and had some Vertigo so I went in to have a brain scan by the recommendation of my eye specialist. We discovered an unusual amount of White Matter so I was sent to a MS Specialist. She said I have no symptoms of MS other than the double vision and vertigo after a 2.5 hour dr visit. She thought it was Vascular because they also discovered a 11 mil Lacunar infarct (stroke). The Vascular specialist says nothing is wrong in this regard after a Corated Artery and Brain CT Scan. This scan also revealed a lot of white matter. The double vision only lasted a month and vertigo a week. Since then I have not sought any medical treatment for discovery testing. I had a lot of head trauma as a child from parental domestic violence, I ve had 2 bad car accidents. Should I be seeking more medical advice? I am totally fine and healthy after starting on 10 mg of Lisinapril for moderate high blood pressure. BP is normal now. Feeling great. Should this White Matter continue to be a concern? Thank you!

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having double vision and vertigo. These symptoms can occur because of ischemia caused by diseases like hypertension. No need to worry about the reports of the brain scan. You need to continue treatment for hypertension.
Hence I advice you yo consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
