Is Weight Loss Surgery Possible In Disabled With Lumbar Spine Stenosis, Diabetes While Taking Metformin, Glipicide?
Hi my name is Lewis, I am a 57 year old disabled man, in a wheelchair from lumbar spine stenosis, I currently weight 379 ilbs. I exercise 5 days weekly. I have diebietes type 2 ....My docter has prescribed metformin 850 mg. and Glipicide. I have a nutrienist. I was considering weight lost surgery maybe the lap band because too many risk with the sleeve or gastric bypass surgery also not reversible surgery. What do you think?

I really appreciate your concern, Looking to your age and the medical condition you have this is not advisable to go for the surgery for reducing the weight you could get the same results with diet control alone, and that will be the best way instead of going for invasive procedure, hope this answer will help you in taking the right decision have nice day.
