Is Weakness Common During Diarrhea Incidence?
I am 23 years old, 5ft4 and weigh about 10.5 stone. I have been prescribed 400mg of metronidazole to take 3 times a day, ciprobay 500mg twice a day and albendazolel 200mg 2 tablets at bedtime as I am travelling in asia and had severe diarroeah so the dr did a stool test and said i had worms, its eggs and amoebas. But I have been violently sick taking this medication and find it really hard to take them as I can't eat as I feel so sick all the time. Is it normal to feel so sick and weak that I find it hard to walk?

Dear metronidazole can cause altered taste,albendazole may cause generalized weakness, Ciprofloxacin may cause nausea and vomiting. weakness may be caused by many other causes just observe have you feeling more weakness for above drugs please contact your doctor he will advice alternate drug for your problem.
