Is Vitamin B-12 Supplement Good For General Health?

Hello, Thank you, I'd like to know if B-12 vitamin is beneficial, can be over done, or just plain not good for some people. Vitamin C I believe is eliminated in urine when system is saturated. Detriment is wasted expense, but not an overdose so to speak. I'm wondering if B-12 is similar? Thoughts?

Hi,

Vitamin B 12 supplements also good for general health. Vitamin B12 deficiency is most common among vegetarian diet. It is also similar to Vitamin C, water soluble vitamin and excreted in urine. You can take Vitamin in both oral and injectable form after confirming vitamin B1 deficiency. In oral form it should be taken for 1 month -2 months. In injectable form, one injection weekly for 8 week is require and then monthly if deficiency persists and depend on symptoms of deficiency. Eat healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise.

Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.

Best regards,
Dr. Sagar
