It is not normal nor acceptable for any woman to have pain and burning urination after each intercourse. Initial few intercourses may cause such feeling as the vagina is yet very tight and the hymen may be present. However, after many intercourses, hurting feeling in the vagina and burning urination has to be taken cognisance of.
It is a good news that your doctor has declared that you are not having STD.
The most possible cause I can see is dry intercourse. May be he is inserting his penis in your vagina in hurry while the vagina is still dry and you have not become wet. This can hurt the vagina from inside and even the vulva outside causing the discomforts you are experiencing.
Try two things:
1. Wait for the insertion till you are absolutely wet. Then naturally you will have an urge of having penis inserted. Let him insert only after this when you DEMAND insertion.
2. Use lubricants. Please avoid oil-based lubricants as they are dangerous to the women's internal organs of reproduction - particularly mouth of uterus. Use only water-based lubricants available in the pharmacy shops. Vaginal jellies are also good lubricants.
If he is using condom, please ask him to insert under vision directly inside the vagina without touching outside parts, particularly the urinary opening. The latex rubber of condom does cause inflammation of the urinary opening, later on leading to infection.
Remember, size of the penis will not hurt vagina. Much larger head of the baby also is accommodated through vagina without trauma.
Sex is a delicate game. Do it gently and artistically. I am sure you will enjoy your long life full of sex.

OBGYN Dr. Jacqueline Brown's  Response
Hello, and i hope I can help you today.

Depending on your degree of arousal, amount of lubrication, and the length and quality of intercourse with your partner, it certainly can be sore after having sex occasionally. If you use condoms for contraception, even if a condom is lubricated you can still have chafing around the vaginal opening. Burning with urination can occur if your urinary opening (called your urethra) gets rubbed during intercourse as well... It is located at the top of the entrance of the vagina below your clitoris.

The best way to prevent chafing is, even if you feel like you are sufficiently lubricated, using a little water-based lubricant on you and your partner before penetration can make it more comfortable for both of you. Also making sure you are fully aroused before initiating intercourse can also help.

It is important to urinate after sex, especially if you feel burning, to help prevent urinary tract infections.

So in summary, it is normal for your vagina to hurt after sex sometimes, but you shouldn't feel that way all the time. I think that using a lubricant and working with your partner to include foreplay should help to reduce your discomfort after sex.

I hope I was able to adequately answer your question today and that my advice was helpful.

Best wishes,

Dr. Brown
