Is Vaginal Bleeding After Having Pause Mf Normal?

How long dies Pause MF take to work in stopping the bleeding? I started the 1st tablet on the 6th day of bleeding (heavy flow from day 4). Today is the 7th day, have had 4 tablets till now, bleeding is still heavy but clotting has increased. Will it suffice to take it for 2 more days to stop the bleeding?

Hi,
I have one through your query and understood the concern. Most often, a course of three days with intake twice a day is sufficient. If you do not find any improvement even after this period, please see your specialist for further suggestions. You may be advised progesterone supplements for control of the bleeding, investigated further for other causes like general infections, coagulation disorders etc., apart from exclusion of local and pelvic causes. Hormones may also be given as a course either as pills, injections or an IUD. Hope this helps.
