Is Using Vaseline While Being Allergic To Condoms Prevent Pregnancy?

I am epileptic and 47 years old. I do not use any type of birth control because of my medications. I am also allergic condoms. My granny always say greasy eggs don t hatch. Is it safe to use vaseline to prevent pregnancy? My boyfriend constantly pulls out and I don t have an orgasim. I can tell he is not enjoying the sex. Neither am I. I don t wanna get pregnant. What should I do?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in..

Applying vaseline will only enhance lubrication and does not protect from pregnancy. You might be lucky that you have not got pregnant so far though it might also be due to the fact that you are in menopausal age group and are not ovulating. You can safely try other forms of contraception other than condoms like low hormone pills, vaginal suppositories and spermicidals.
