Is Two Doses Of Zentel Necessary?
Hi Doctor,
My daughter is 6 yrs and 5 months old. I give her Zentel every 6 months as part of the regular de-worming routine. I give her a dose. Then I give her the second dose after a week. Is this second dose absolutely necessary...or can I skip it?

NO. A 6 year and 5 month old child requires 400 mg of albendazole(10 ml Zentel ) once a year for routine deworming. Only if the sanitation is a big problem 6 monthly doses can be given
