HI,
as there are no signs of any internal injury you need to worry.but i want to ask you..did he have any bleed from nose or ears and did he throw up?
If there are no such issues you can rest assured.the lump could be a simple swelling on the head which resolves in two weeks approximately.use some paracetamol according his weight and age (approch your pharmacist or GP for dosing)for pain twice to thrice daily after food for a few days.
If you have any suspicion approach your GP immediately.
