Is Tonsillitis Curable With Medicines?
hello doctor my kid has cough and cold from 10 days doctor has given taxin o 100mg syrup for 5 days and ascoril for 5 days and montex kid for 2weeks. she told he is having little tonsils symptos is it true if it is is cureable from medicine or he needs a surgery

Tonsillitis can be alright with antibiotic medicine treatment.
If there is frequent attack of tonsillitis or there is constant foci of infection on tonsils, then you may require surgical removal.
Normal enlarge tonsils does not require any surgery.
Avoid more cold drinks and junk food.
Ok and take care.
