Is This Information A Cause For Concern?

Hi, I was giving my grandson a bath last night and he put his finger in his anus. I asked him who did that to him and he said, "Ms. Chrissy." She is a daycare provider at his school. Should I be concerned? He and our daughter just moved into an apartment after 3 years of living with us. He 2 1/2. His behavior has been pretty awful, tantrums, crying, angry, not wanting to sleep alone..

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, Thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
Yes, this information is a cause of concern. You should inform the mother and check with the school regarding this matter. Sometimes the kids may just say any thing without the reason but at least you should look into the matter.
Has his behaviour been bad lately or is it like that from the start?
Use behaviour modification techniques for him for his tantrums and crying.
I hope I have helped you
Thank you.
