Is This Dosage Of Prednisolone Safe For Croup?
I am pretty sure my 6 month old has croup...it progressed pretty quick over night. I have 15 mg prednisolone that was prescribed to him a while bamitchck for similar. Its 15 mg/5ml sol mgp. Can I give this to my little guy? If so, what dose for a 18lb 6 month old is safe?

Regarding your 6 months old child with a working diagnosis of croup I am suggesting that do a lab investigation to confirm a definitive diagnosis before administration of drugs
In view of this please don't give the prednisone until you see a ENT specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
