Is This Common To Gain Weight While On Synthetic Hormones After Full Hysterectomy?

Hello! I had a full hysterectomy in 2002. I was on synthetic hormones until 6 months ago after I found a breast lump. My Doctor asked me to go off all hormone meds to see if breast thickness would be reduced. Since, I ve ballooned 25 pounds. Is this common?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You are taking hormone replacement therapy and weight gain is common side effects. So your weight gain may be due to hormones.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me.
