Hello,
If you happen to have seen this discharge at the time of a normal menstrual period and if you are sexually active, please suspect pregnancy and get investigated accordingly. If pregnancy can be excluded, it is likely to be a breakthrough bleeding due to hormonal imbalance which may have been caused by sudden weight disturbances, stress of any form, infections or use of certain medications. A physical examination, pregnancy tests, sonogram and hormonal assays if needed, are suggested. Hope this helps.
