Is There Something To Worry About Faster Heart Rate?
hi there i have a new born baby she is 6 weeks old and when i was pregnant the doctor said my baby had an irregular heart beat and after birth she had faster heart beat and they kept her longer before she come home with me she is fine now but i want to know if there is any sign of symptoms that i need to watch?
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. By what you quote i feel your baby had fetal distress antenatally - in womb. Now if she is gaining weight well and feeding normally, you need not worry. These are the signs which you need to look at - 1. Bluish discoloration of lips and finger tips. 2. breathlessness and fast breathing. 3. Poor feeding and excessive sweating over forehead. 4. Seizures or loss of consciousness. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health. Dr. Sumanth MBBS., DCH., DNB (Paed).,
