Is There Non Surgical Treatment For Pseunoid Sinuses?

I am looking for information on pseudamonas in my pseunoid sinuses. I have had surgery twice once on my pseuoids only and once on my pseunoids and ethnoids and have been on I.V. antibiotics off and on for 3 years, mainly meropenem and wonder if there is another option for me. My Md. does culture my sinuses and meropenem is one of the antibiotics that the infection is sensitive to. We are limited by my number of allergies to many antibiotics; any advice will be greatly appreciated.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello, thanks for your query, there are several antibiotics which can be used in pseudomonas infections.

I suggest you to do check for culture and sensitivity for sinus secretions.

Consult your treating surgeon for appropriate drug dosage and strength.

hope I have answered your query. all the best. take care.
