Is There Anything I Can Take While Being Pregnant To Help My Symptoms ?

I am 23 years old, I am 6 wks and 5 days pregnant, I have been diagnosed with a multinodular goiter but my lab levels seem fine they say - I have a lot of symptoms oh hyperthyroidism, but they said they dont want to treat me until after my pregnancy. is there anything i can take while being pregnant to help my symptoms ?

hello,
the best way is to use some cooling agents like fan. You can use a damp moist cloth evry 2 hourly to wipe off the sweat. Tablets are better avoided as it can cause birth defects in the foetus. Eat healthy and drink adequate water. Do not self medicate. After the baby is born you can start with the medications and also you need to check the babies thyroid status at birth and at 3 and 6 months and if any symptoms worsen call your emergency number.
