I am a 32yr old woman whose partner has had HPV ( 10yrs ago and has been treated ) we want to start having unprotected sex ( after STI checkups) his doctor suggested that I get vaccinated for HPV , I have since done some reserch and the side effects are quite extreme ... is this vaccination neccessary for me ?

It is given to girls at very early age means before her sexual contacts means before age of 16 years. Two doses are given at upper arms 6 to 24 months apart.
