parkinsonism affects persons over the age of 55 years.it is uncommon below the age of 40 and more commonly seen in people above 40 years. the disease manifests as tremors and rigidity in the form of stiffness in the neck, hands and legs. he should be treated by anti parkinsonism drugs. it is a slow progressive disease and hence encourage your father to live an independent life as much as possible and also encourage regular exercise program.
