This type of hair loss in Androgenetic Alopecia is gradual. It has a particular pattern to it; hair fall and thinning is most pronounced at the front and top of the scalp. Usually there is a family history in father, siblings, cousins etc Minoxidil and Finasteride are approved remedies for Androgenetic Alopecia. They arrest further progression of thinning and hair fall and even reverse early loss Minoxidil is absolutely safe; it may cause a dull headache if used in more than the recommended amount because it is a vasodilator. The normal recommended amount to use is 1 ml.
