Is There Any Side Effect For Laser Eye Treatment?

Hi .. My eye power is -5 and -6 in left nd right eye respectively, im wearing specs frm the age of 15 or 16 i thnk, and now iam 26... with present power.Using specs regurlarly... many of my collegeus suggested fr laser treatement, but is it good fr now..will there be any side effects.. or is there ny recomended execercise fr us and yes i use to work on computer fr nearly 8 to 9 hrs daily as a part of my profession.



Help me out with good suggestion ....

Common known side effect for LASIK is DRY EYE, less commonly slight under or over correction, glare etc. These are minor especially for patient of high power who can get rid of glasses.

Other major side effects will be result of some complications while procedure, which is a rare chances.

There are no such recommended exercises. But maintain good nutrition and hydration. If you use contact lens avoid them at least for 2-4wks before procedure.
