Is There Any Side Effect By Vaccinated Dog Bite During Pregnancy?

Hi im 1 month pregnant, i have a 5 months and 11 days old jack russell puppy. She was playing with my arms while i was sleeping.i grab my arms causing her fang hit me and it bleed.it looks like 1 small dot of wound. My dog had her anti rabies vaccine last dec10,2013, she was born aug 20, her other vaccines are the 5 in 1 anti parvo, she was deworm also and undergo advocate treatment evry month since nov.30.she just stay inside the house and her food is only dog food.
My question is do dogs can still have rabies left even she had a vaccine 2 months ago? Since im pregnant will it affect my baby?what should i do? I just press the wound, let d blood comes out & washed it with soap and water

Hi. You need not press the wound for it to bleed more .Only washing it thiroughly with soap and water for 15 mts. is good and no need of antiseptic also. But you certainly need to have PEP( post exposure prophylaxis) and observe the dog for 10 days.It will not harm the baby. We can't ignore a dog bite even if dog is vaccinated.Thanks.
