Is There Any Medication To Terminate Pregnancy?

I have been on birth control pills for three years and they have failed I am one week late and took a test and the test was positive but very faint. I have 4 children one of which has a lot of med. Problems I can not have another child and want to know if there is a medication I can take to terminate pregnancy?

Thanks for the query.
Failure of oral contraceptive pills is rare if taken according to the guidelines.
Urine pregnancy test kits sometimes may give false positive results.
So, consult gynecologist once, get examined and go for ultrasound.
Ultrasound is needed to:
-Confirm the pregnancy
--To estimate the gestational age
-To exclude ectopic pregnancy
Then according to the gestational age, with your doctor's advice, you can choose method of abortion.
Usually up to around 8 weeks medical termination with tablets is possible.
