Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Dear Doctor I am 28 years and attained menarche when I was 11. From then till now I had regular periods interval of 20 to 28 days, I am unmarried and dont have any sexual relationship with anyone till date. My periods has not come for more than 35 days since last period. I dont take any other medicines. I dont have any preexisting disease or condition. My BMI is normal. Please suggest me medicines to get periods immediately because I need to attend religious event in 10 days. Thanks for your time Thanks.
I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
There are drugs which can prepone the period. But these are hormonal preparation and are not available as over the counter drugs, so you can not get them without prescription.
Usually for preponing the periods hormonal preparations are given for a week to 10 days before depending for how long you want to prepone the period.
As I cannot prescribe you the drugs other than over the counter ones, I advice you to see the gynecologist for help.
Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.
Sincerely,
I find this answer helpful
