Is There Any Medication To Diabetes That Do Not Cause Dysentery?
My wife was taking tri gluco red forte for about five year .blood glucose came down to 135 fasting and pp195 but she had always dysentry/loose motion and she had to take dependal-M for that .Now doctor has again prescribed the same medicine but different company i.e Blisto*2MF.This caused sever lose motion .Hence stopped it ,Is there any medicine which don't cause dysentry /loose motion ? She is scared of insulin injection .
Hello, Glybenclamide and metformin both can cause diarrhea and they are present in triglucored forte. There are plenty of other oral antidiabetic medications belonging to different classes which can be given to you lke newer drugs called as GLIPTINS,alpha glucosidase inhibitors etc. You can consult a diabetologist or an internal medicine specialist for proper investigations and management.
