Is There Any Medication For Instant Cure Of Loose Motions?
My spouse n I are currently travellingin Switzerland and he is suffering from sever loose motions along with sever gas.Have given him lomotil. Is there any other over the counter medication thatat could be bought over t here which would be more effective. Please suggest. Thank you. Regards

Hi,
From history it seems that your spouse is having acute gastro-enteritis.
You can give him Ofloxacilin, tinidazole combinationtablet for 3 days.
Along with this medicine give him antispasmodic tablet like Dicyclomine.
Give him plenty of water with electrolytes ans ORS liquid to prevent dehydration.
Give him light diet like curd, buttermilk, rice.
Ok and take care.
