thanks for posting your query on healthcare magic
Weight gain can be due to several reasons which may be physiological or pathological. You said your sister has hormonal problem .I would like to know what problem , what medication and dosage shes using for the treatment and what was the latest blood investigation report of the hormonal levels. If they are under control , what is the part she is having the most fat accumulated in .
See Laser / RF /Slimming machines may sound to be a miraculous option which gives magical results but they are all existing to fool people .
Ill suggest is that she should join a gym or start cardio training herself with a consultation with her dietitian to tell her daily caloric requirement and the exact diet she needs to follow.
Once she follows this regime and has a static weight for 3 to 6 months ...go in for Liposuction.Liposuction also is not an alternative to weight loss.It is a body contouring option using which we can remove excess fat from all contours including abdomen , thighs , calves , arms , breasts , face ,chin , buttocks. In megaliposuction more than 10 % of body weight fat is removed which we do is upto 18 - 22 litres as well depending upon the distribution of fat .
There is no short cut to weight loss or body contouring .If we think we can get liposuction or Laser or any slimming mechanically and dont keep a track of diet and exercise then its not permanent .The results will be very short lived .
Liposuction is of various kinds Eg UAL Ultrasonic assisted liposuction or VASER , Laser lipolysis , power assisted PAL , SAL suction assisted liposuction and many more but in almost all it is usually done with tumescence these days in which we inject fluid solutions mixed with drugs into the sub-cutaneuos fatty layer of skin and then break the fat with cannulas and then suction it out .Post surgery compression garments are to be worn for atleast 6 weeks and tissue edema or swelling takes time for final result to show in 6 weeks to 9 months varying from individual to individual.
Usually even with liposuction a weight loss of 5 to 10 kgs does occur but its not the aim of surgery. The aim is body contouring .The cost of megaliposuction is usually 75000 - Rs 1.5 lack depending upon the number of sites to be liposuctioned , usually it is 30000 to 70000 per part.

I hope i have answered to most of your doubts
If any further queries you have do feel free to post again
God Bless
