Is There Any Interaction Between Supplements And Medications?
Have been prescribed 25 micrograms of Eltroxin and 10 mg Lipitor. Am taking supplements - Vitamin E - 1000 i.u. - Fish Oil - 1000mg (300 mg of Omega 3) - Selenium - 200 mcg - Thermagran-M (premier 50 plus). Also taking 5 mg Istin and 12.5 mg Capator for high blood pressure. Is there any intereaction between supplements and medications?

Taken together with Eltoxin these medications may decrease the absorption of Eltroxin thus reducing its efficacy to treat hypothyroidism.
To ensure an adequate absorption Eltroxin should be taken once a day on an empty stomach with a full glass of water one half to one hour before breakfast.
Other prescribed medications can be taken at least 4 hours before or 4 hours after you take Eltroxin.
