Hello and thank you for visiting our site.

In women who are in the first half of their cycle (days 1-14), emergency contraception is the most effective. It works by delaying ovulation. The typical experience with taking these pills is a small amount of breakthrough bleeding a few days after taking the pills (or a brownish discharge), followed by a delay in your next period. A pregnancy test will turn positive about 2-3 weeks after conception, so a test in 3 weeks will accurately reflect whether or not you are pregnant. The febrile illness is not related to pregnancy and should be treated as a separate problem, as it has been done.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
