Is There Any Chance Of Croup Get Spread?
about 1 week ago a child in our childcare Centre came to school with Croup. he was in the Centre for most of the day. he was coughing over me as I held him for his mother. he also came into the nursery room around the babies. Since then I have been struggling with a chest infection that is getting worse. Over the week end I have gradually got worse. and now one week on I have a very heavy chest and the cough has got worse almost to a bark. I generally feel unwell. Is there a chance I can contract Croup from this child??

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history give here I could say that croup is actually transient type of viral infection and this may be contagious if you are immunologically weak but the chances of this is very rare, and as you said about your symptoms this may not be due to the croup, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
