Is There A Relation Between ASD Closure Open Heart Surgery And Eye Power?

hi Doctor,

I had ASD closure Open Heart Surgery in Sept 2009.I am fit now.

But I have checked my eyes and got to know that my power is -1.25 binocular.

Is there any relationship between the ASD Closure and Eye Power? There was no problem as such before 2-3 months.

Please guide.

Thanks in adavance.

Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having refractive error in the form of myopia.
There is no relationship between open heart surgery and refractive error.
I think it is a mere coincidence. The refractive error needs to be corrected by refraction and correction.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
