Is There A Connection Between Endocrinal And Excretory System?
Is there a connection between my thyroid function (or general endocrine system) and my bladder leakage? My previous endocronologist has said no...so did my urologist. I started taking a very low does of thyroid medication and have tried both synthetic and naturethroid. Started with 12.5 synthroid and am now on 50mg of naturthroid. I have had urethral bulking, a midurethral sling, physical therapy...nothing has helped the bladder leakage. I just switched endocronologists and when using an ultrasound said that my thyroid has significantly atrophied (1/2 size) and that I my previously biopsed nodule (benign) has grown from 1.4 cm to 2.4 cm in one year. Any thoughts?

Both the conditions Thyroid and bladder are different from each other these are nothing to take anything as long as pathophysiology and treatment are concern, bladder condition is some what surgical one, you need to more careful for bladder problem rather than thyroid one, hope this information helps, take care.
