Is There A Chance Of STD After Unprotected Oral Sex?
I am a 30 year old male and I had protected sex using latex condom 3 days back. However I had unprotected oral sex as well. This is the first time I had sex and the female has multiple sex partners. She told me she was clean. Should I go for STD testing? Please advise I am a bit tensed.

I do not wish to alarm you but unprotected oral sex can transmit HIV, Hepatitis, Herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, and HPV. I would say all sexually transmitted diseases can be transmitted through oral sex as the virus/bacteria responsible for the disease can transmit through vaginal fluid. However, risk of getting infected through oral sex is quite low than vaginal or anal sex. In addition, transmission of oral sex from female to male is lower than the other way around. Only exception is herpes. She also informed you that she is not having any disease.
If you still want to confirm your STD status, you will have to go for testing of every disease individually. In that case, you should go for HIV testing as it is life threatening and not get tested for others as chances of your being at risk are low and other diseases are not a risk to life.
You can practice safe sexual intercourse from now on. For oral sex, you can cut the condom, make a sheet and use it as barrier on vagina.

Good question. Yes, I would recommend going to a center for STD testing, although your chances of actually developing anything are slim to none considering that gonorrhea and chlamydia are rarely found in the oral cavity in asymptomatic patients. You could wait to get tested until you develop burning while urinating.
