Is There A Blood Test To Show Carbon Monoxide Poisoning?
My husband and I have been experiencing similar problems. I have been having anixety attacks and dizziness. My husband has been very dizzy lately. We live in a home heated by gas and do not have a carbon monoxide alarm (which I plan on purchasing today). Is there a blood test that can show carbon monoxide poisoning? We also have had a skunk that has somehow gotten under our house and skunk fumes are throughout the house. Could these odors be a cause of our symptons. We both have primary doctors.
There are blood tests to check for carbon monoxide poisoning. If this is at all a possibility (and it sounds like it is), you need to get out of your house and go to the emergency room to get checked. Now. Carbon monoxide poisoning can kill you. Call the company that supplies the gas and let them know what is going on. They can check your house for gas leaks. But do not remain in the house until both you and your husband (and the house) have been checked. Skunk fumes might be causing some symptoms, but you need to be sure it's not carbon monoxide. Hope this helps.
