Is There A Volfenac Diclofenaco Generic Substitute?

A friend bought Volfenac diclofenaco gel from Mexico, which was given to me to try on my hip arthritis, and my pulled neck muscle. Seems to work very well. I have looked for indications/interaction with other drugs/and so on. Is there another form of this in the U.S.A., that doesn t cost over $100??

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me at "Ask a Doctor". I will try to answer your question to the best of my ability.

You should be able to find Voltaren gel which is the same. On goodRx.com It looks like it is just over $50.

I hope this information is useful for you. Please do not hesitate to message us back if you have any further questions.

Best wishes,

Adrian Rawlinson MD
