Is The Swelling In Ear And Neck Side Effect Of Ear Lobe Removal?
I had a growth removed off of the back of my ear lobe on Friday by a dermatologist. He then cauterized it to stop the bleeding. Since then my ear has remained swollen (about three times its normal size). I also have swelling in my neck and blisters on my ear. Is this typical side effects for the procedure?
No, these are not the expected side effects and you may have developed an ear infection. please meet your dermatologist again , he will examine you and give you an antibiotic ointment for local application and may start you on oral antibiotics. Please dont delay and meet your doctor soon.
